Lebanon is a country in Western Asia. It is bordered by
Syria to the north and east and Israel to the south, while Cyprus is west
across the Mediterranean Sea.
Lebanon's location at the crossroads of the Mediterranean
Basin and the Arabian hinterland facilitated its rich history and shaped a
cultural identity of religious and ethnic diversity.
At just 10,452 km2
(4,036 sq. mi.), it is the smallest recognized sovereign state on the mainland
Asian continent.
The millennial beauty of Lebanon has attracted many tourists
to visit this country.
Where to go when traveling here as is?
You can visit the Mohammad Al-Amin Mosque which is a Sunni
mosque in the heart of Lebanon, Lebanon.
You will be delighted to visit the Greek Orthodox Church of
St. George at Place de l’Etoile Square in Beirut.
Lebanon also has Saida, famous for its fish markets and
ports, as a tourist attraction in Lebanon.
The ancient Roman ruins in Hadiqa As-Samah, central Lebanon,
will be very attractive to visit, photograph and film.
Visitors can also visit the Mercury Temple in Baalbek,
Lebanon or Sidon Sea Castle, the vicinity of the port city of Saida, built as a
fortress in 1228.
