Latvia is a country in the Baltic region of Northern Europe. Since its independence, Latvia has been referred to as one of the Baltic states.

It is bordered by Estonia to the north, Lithuania to the south, Russia to the east, and Belarus to the southeast, and shares a maritime border with Sweden to the west.

Latvia has 1,957,200 inhabitants and a territory of 64,589 km2 (24,938 sq mi). The country has a temperate seasonal climate.

Latvia is a country of incredible attraction, a wonderful little European corner with the customs preserved for centuries beside modern civilized life.

Riga is a great destination, the capital and largest city of Latvia. Riga is famous for its architecture, multicultural heritage and many museums.

Half of Latvia is a green eco-system, most of which have no trace of humans. Much of Latvia's wild territory is located near Scandinavia. Many beaches, parks, forests, and wild nature are the perfect place for exploring tours.

Latvia owns the largest continent of the old continent  Ventas Rumba waterfall. Ventas Rumba waterfall is about 249 m wide, although the slope is only about 2m. Ventas Falls is located on the Venta River near Kulgida town, about 155km from Riga.
